First MP Elected Nationally, Lots of Activity Locally

On 6th May 2010, Caroline Lucas was elected as the first ever Green MP in the UK Parliament. This was a great achievement and is a real platform for us to build on around the country and here in South Warwickshire.

Here in South Warwickshire the Green Party runs campaigns to make our communities fairer and greener places. We fight to get elected to the local council. We run social events and ‘policy in the pub' sessions where we can share our views and ideas.
